How do I send SolarWinds Orion traps to IBM Tivoli NetCOOL? I want to send SNMP traps from SolarWinds Orion to NetCOOL to create a common view across the enterprise. I know how to translate the traps when they come into NetCOOL. I am able to get a .1.3.6.4.1.11703 6 10 trap from SolarWinds, but this looks more like a heartbeat, and has no information included. Is there a way to add more information to the traps coming from SolarWinds?

You need to change your logging for the catch all rule. That is a full trap with a lot of information. If you edit the mttrapd.conf in NetCOOL \ Omnibus you can have it log the full trap and all associated info to the mttrapd.log. The line to edit should be at the bottom of the mttrapd.conf and will start with Log (error...
